Today I learned a sad news: Costco(USA) stopped carrying Fujicolor Superia X-TRA 400, which is the only 135mm film they have for a long while. If you have been into film photography, you would know Fuji X-tra 400 is the cheapest yet useful film for both outdoor and indoor.
Costco used to have 6 rolls pack for 5 dollar, but not anymore.... Today I asked the staff in the Costco, and they said they are going all digital. I wonder when he said that, does that mean their film process lab will be closing down as well? I hope not, but I can't deny the film medium is fading away.
You can still get film in photo store, but it would be much more expensive. Film photography gradually becoming a expensive hobby.
I was thinking invest more money for film cameras just to able to shoot full-frame for cheap, but now I am not sure if I should: I took picture for fun, not for profession after all.
